i have chosen to analyse the scene where the protagonist falls asleep and misses her train. as soon as she wakes up, she is trying to call out to someone but nobody is there. and she tries to make her way out.

we hear her footsteps..whcih shows how quiet it is. this also helps the viewer indentify and leaves them to anticipate what may happen next.

the camera pans around her, which gives the audience the thought of someone watching her. this makes us aware for anyone to jump out on her. also theres a shot were we see the protagonist through some sort of barrier, which im guessing is the barrier to get onto the platform, and we see this in a way that we feel the villian is spying on her.

along with the previous shot we also hear a hollow sound in the backgroung were we can hear echos. this gives the scene a creepy vibe to it and also it leaves the audience waiting on what is going to happen next.

the fact that the protagonist is shown to be very brave, shows that something might just come out from somewhere. however, she is also curious to see what is behind the barrier as she keeps loooking there and therefore it is obvious to us that something will happen. however nothing does.

the camera is hand-held and therefore it creates a scary scene. and we are ready for some sort of action. all of a sudden we are dropped into another scene were we hear a loud rail way noise and are forced to jump because we get frightened.
